Join 4 extraordinary musicians for a performance of Olivier Messiaen's powerful Quartet for the End of Time, which was composed & first performed in 1941 in a prisoner-of-war camp. Members of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra & instructor from the VSO School of Music; violinist Yuel Yawney, clarinetist AK Cope, cellist Heather Hay & pianist Rosemary O'connor, come together to bring us this unique work Messiaen described as “ ..rhythms, modes, rainbows & bridges to the beyond, cast into sonorous space”.
