Jenn Ashton & Sara Gardner: Inside Out

North Shore painters Jenn Ashton & Sara Gardner present unique reflections on the choices we make while creating our individual identities & how those choices actually connect us all together through  3 series of work:

What We Wear - a series of shoes & clothing by Gardner who believes fashion is not just about the clothes & accessories we wear. It helps us identify with who we are: extensions of our personalities & when we are: little marks of us, in time.

Who We Are - Ashton takes an introspective look at stages of growth & familiar milestones through her colourful selfie portraits. "Remember that time when?" She will ask you as you look on, & then smile in recognition of your own memories.

How We Express Ourselves - a collaborative effort of energetic abstracts by both artists. This art is meant as an inquiry into the way we extend & enjoy our creativity & our appreciation of the aesthetic.

Opening reception: Tuesday, July 4th, from 6-8pm
