    • Sunday, May 05, 2024
    • 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
    • Silk Purse Arts Centre, 1570 Argyle Ave.

Experience the magic of live storytelling, the oldest form of the arts.

Join longtime professional & emerging tellers for a Cric?-Crac! of fabulous stories around the hearth....from epic world tales to personal narratives, poetry, music, & an Ex Tempore story circle.

Cric? Crac! happens the first Sunday of the month based around a unique theme each session. April is Mothership.

To celebrate Mother's Day tellers Russell Hirsch, Abegael Fisher-Lang & Marylee Stephenson, & musician Iqbal Ishani delve into the many facets of motherhood from the perspectives of being & having a mother. Hosted by Patricia Smith.

Emerging tellers - that includes everyone -  will have a chance to share in the Ex Tempore circle following the reception of chai & treats.

Presented with the North Shore Tellers since 2000.

    Admission by donation.
