    Artwork from the You Are Here 2018 Calendar featuring scenes of the North Shore by local artists: Mohammad Reza Atashzad, Caroline Chao, Myranda Storm, Ewa Pluciennik, Ken Dawes, Frank Townsley, Vicki Lynn Rae, Marnie Boullard, Miles Brook, George Wilkinson, Kathy Daley, Graham Harrop.
    Theses stunning works of art were used to create a 2018 calendar used as a promotional & fundraising tool for the upcoming North Shore Cultural Mapping Project, spearheaded by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council.
    The North Shore Cultural Map will showcase the art & cultural diversity of the North Shore, including the City of North Vancouver, the District of North Vancouver, the District of West Vancouver, the Squamish Nation and the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. Learn more about the Cultural Mapping project.

    SPECTRUM is an exciting exhibition celebrating the talented & diverse artists in our community! We are extending an open invitation to all artists, established & aspiring, to present  1 work of art, with the first 50 submissions automatically selected for a group show. Submission details can be found here.

    This special 3 week exhibition will  feature work in a wide spectrum of mediums, styles & subject matter. We hope to encourage members of our community to share their talents for all to see. There will be a People's Choice Award of a $100 Opus Art Supplies gift card for the artwork that receives the most votes from visitors to the gallery. Art lovers-support creativity in our community & vote for your favourite work of art!

    Chun Ping (Claire) Huang's textured, dream-like acrylic & oil paintings of buildings from Vancouver to Naples  are abstracted & deconstructed with the intent to  capture the character & spirit of a place rather than the brick, glass & steel that compose it.

    Spring is here with the return of one of our most popular exhibitions, Cherry Blossoms: A Textile Translation. This is the 10th annual exhibition of textile art inspired by the cherry blossom. Marvel at all the beautiful & intricate works of art in a variety of mediums including quilting, needle work, fashion & more! 
    Artists will give live demos every weekend during the exhibition.
