Perceptions of Nature

  • Tuesday, March 05, 2019
  • Sunday, March 24, 2019
  • Silk Purse Arts Centre

Painters Neda Derakhshan & Dena Rouhbakhsh capture the essence & impression of nature through abstract works in acrylic & watercolour.
Derakhshan's watercolours use expressive lines & a minimal palette to create a symbol of nature rather than direct interpretation, reflecting the feeling of nature.
Rouhbakhsh's vivid acrylic depictions of trees explode with colour & exaggerated shapes expressing the bountiful life & beauty found in nature.

Opening reception: Tuesday, March 5th, from 6-8pm
