All artists, established & emerging are invited to submit work for our annual open invitation exhibition SPECTRUM. The first 25 artists to digitally submit 1 work of art will be featured in a 4 week group exhibition from March 11 - April 3!
Our goal with this exhibition is to showcase the talented artists in our community working in a broad spectrum of styles & subject matter; encouraging them to share their gifts for all to see.
This year we’re looking for work responding to the theme metamorphosis. We as individuals, as communities & as a society have been faced with many challenges & paradigm shifts as of late. We have had to reflect, grow, adapt & transform to meet & embrace our ever-changing world. Artists are invited to explore these themes & concepts through their unique point of view, subject matter & medium.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The first 25 artists to submit 1 work of art will feature in a group exhibition from Mar. 11 - Apr. 3 at the Silk Purse Arts Centre.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
a) 1 work of art in any medium inspired by the theme metamorphosis.
b) Work must be gallery ready - have appropriate mounting/hanging equipment.
c) Max Size: Wall mounted artwork: 24” x 24” (including frame if work is framed)
Free-standing sculpture: height 24" diameter 10".
e) Current WVCAC Membership.
REGISTRATION
Registration will be online on this page. Open from 1-2pm Saturday, February 20. Closes once 25 artists have registered.

To register you will need the following to complete the online form:
a) $10 registration fee.
b) High resolution JPEG of your artwork, max size 20MB.
c) Statement about your artwork, max 200 words.
c) Title, size, medium, price of the artwork.
EXHIBITION INFORMATION
Installation & Uninstallation: WVCAC Gallery Coordinator will contact artists to schedule the delivery of artwork & any other materials. Installation will be executed by the WVCAC. The Gallery Coordinator will schedule artwork retrieval times with artists.
Sales: The WVCAC will process all sales & take a 30% commission.
Promotion: The WVCAC will promote the exhibition in various online & print publications, & distribute promotional material to artists.
