This holiday season we are inviting submissions from artists, artisans & makers for our gallery shop, the Art Box, & our Online Holiday Market.
We are looking for unique, handmade, artisanal quality items of jewellery, handbags, pottery, candles, soaps, fabric items, cards, woodwork & leather goods for our Holiday Market in November/December 2021.
Selected items will be displayed in the Art Box & our online store. Selected items will be part of our display & sales at the North Van ShipYards Artisan Christmas Market on December 11 & 12. The Holiday Market will run online from November 15 through December 19.
We take items on consignment, & keep a 25% commission on sales. Payment for sold items will be issued in January 2022.
WVCAC Membership is required, either at the Individual ($10) or Artist ($25) level if you are selected to participate.
How To Submit
1. Select the Register for this event button.
2. Complete the Submission Form which includes uploading:
- Artwork Submission Hi-res images of the items you are submitting for consideration.
Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Each file should be less than 20 MB.
- Artist Statement Clear & concise description of your work & bio.
Accepted formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, ZIP. Each file should be less than 20MB.
Submissions Open August 21, 2021
Submissions Close Wednesday, September 15, 4pm.
Results Artists/artisans/makers will be advised by September 30 if your work is selected. Selected items to be delivered to the WVCAC by October 15 at the Silk Purse Arts Centre, 1570 Argyle Ave. West Vancouver.
