The WVCAC is excited to work in partnership with the Kay Meek Arts Centre to program art exhibitions in the popular venue's theatre lobbies at 1700 Mathers Ave, West Vancouver!

Submission is open to emerging & established artists. We are looking for art that reflects & examines our community & the vast world beyond; that presents new ideas & thought provoking concepts; celebrates, deconstructs & recontextualizes traditional art forms & subjects; all while encouraging creativity & diversity. The Kay Meek is a public facility associated with the School District of West Vancouver & regularly used by secondary school students, so subject matter should be appropriate for such a setting. Artwork can be in any medium, excluding free standing sculpture, audio, video & installation. Artwork will be displayed on the walls using a hook & chain system.

Our mission is to encourage & foster the Arts in our community by providing artists a unique & popular space to exhibit their work & by making art by local artists accessible to the public.

Submissions will be reviewed by an Exhibition Advisory Panel comprised of professional artists & curators to select works based on our mission & criteria.

Selected artists will be scheduled for a 6 week duo or group exhibition in 2023, as early as February. The Exhibition Advisory Panel will determine artist groupings. All selected artists will be required to become WVCAC Members.
