Itamar Erez Quartet

Guitarist/pianist/composer Itamar Erez's music holds a depth & sensitivity that touches listeners deeply. His dynamic original works cross musical cultures combining elements of Middle Eastern traditions with flamenco, Brazilian Choro, blues & jazz into a unique & evocative experience. 

Recipient of the 2014 ACUM Prize for Special Achievement in Jazz & the prestigious 2014 Landau Prize, Itamar Erez is an internationally renowned composer & guitarist who has shared the stage with such musicians as Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Jean-Louis Matinier, Zohar Fresco, & others.

Erez’s quartet features some of the Canadian jazz scene’s boldest, most sensitive players including Sam Davidson on clarinet, Jeff Gammon on bass & Kevin Romain on drums.
