Silk Purse 100: From Cottage to Gallery
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Silk Purse & the home of the West Vancouver Community Arts Council since 1991!
Built in 1925 as a summer cottage, this treasured piece of local history has been many things to many people: seasonal getaway, honeymoon destination, family home, thriving arts centre.
Community Celebration
Join us on Saturday, June 28th from 4 to 6 pm to celebrate the legacy of this beloved local landmark.
Participate in the creation of a Memory Book
Bid on Silent Auction items, purchase Raffle Tickets to win 1 of 3 prizes, or take home a ‘surprise’ bottle of wine packaged in an originally decorated wine bag by a local artist.
Funds raised will support our free community engagement programming.
